THE DRAGON'S CORRIDOR (2009)

Jimmy Woo recently left SHIELD and gathered his former compatriots from Department Zero to take down his long-term nemesis, the Golden Claw (aka, the Yellow Claw, aka Plan Chu), leader of the Atlas Foundation. In a surprising turn of events, the defeated Golden Claw passed control of Atlas to his foe and Woo became leader of the criminal organisation.

Now Woo and his allies - Gorilla-Man (Ken Hale), the Uranian (Bob Grayson), Namora (Aquaria Neptunia), the siren Venus and M-11 the Human Robot - plan to use the Atlas Foundation's resources to solve the world's problems, all without the organisation realising the truth. The immortal dragon Mr Lao has his suspicions about Jimmy Woo's motives and plans to prepare a replacement for him.

Dark Reign: New Nation #1[2/5]
Jimmy Woo and his Agents of Atlas rob Fort Knox of gold bullion reserves when they discover Norman Osborn's secret plan to funnel the bullion to Japan to make weapons without approval from Congress. For Osborn, this is an act of war!

Agents of Atlas #1[1/4]
On Osborn's behalf, Man Mountain Marko blows up one of the Atlas Foundation's main operations. With that, Jimmy Woo sends Venus to walk straight into Avengers Tower, use her powers to control the Sentry and arrange a holographic sit-down with Osborn. Osborn doesn't trust Woo, but he can see how both sides could benefit from an alliance and sends Man Mountain Marko to check out their headquarters as a sign of good faith. Marko learn too much, so the enormous dragon Mr Lao eats Marko. When Osborn finds out, Man Mountain Marko has been eaten, he begins to suspect Jimmy Woo might not be the villainous badass he claims to be. To prepare for what he believes to be Jimmy Woo's inevitable failure, Mr Lao sends him and the other the Agents of Atlas to recruit a second in command. If the day comes when Jimmy Woo dies in the field as Lao predicts, Temujin, the son of the Mandarin will replace him...

Wolverine: Agent of Atlas #1 (digital comic)
Back in 1958, in Cuba, Jimmy Woo, the Gorilla-Man (Ken Hale) and M-11 the Human Robot bump into a Canadian with heavy sideburns while investigating the Yellow Claw's latest plot. The mystery man breaks free of Gorilla Man's attempt to hold him and he goes for Jimmy Woo, pulling out his machete and slashing it across Woo's throat...

Wolverine: Agent of Atlas #2 (digital comic)
M-11 shocks the slasher unconscious, but Jimmy Woo is fine. The guy had killed a mind-control bug that was crawling up his neck and would've made Woo a mindless slave with no way of saving him. The agent, Logan, regains consciousness and joins forces with Woo's Department Zero team, meeting with his man in the field, Hendricks. But Hendricks turns out to be the man who controls the mind-controlling super-bugs...

Wolverine: Agent of Atlas #3 (digital comic)
From his flying saucer, Marvel Boy confirms that they're dealing with mind-controlling bus with an irreversible effect! M-11 blows up the bugs and Logan snaps Hendricks' neck. Woo takes issue with Logan killing Hendricks, so the Canadian mystery agent escapes using a bomb to distracts his Department Zero allies. The team fly off in the saucer, unaware that Fidel Castro and Che Guevara have bugs stuck to their necks...

Agents of Atlas #2
In 1958, Department Zero team investigated regular appearances of a US bomber appearing out of thin air then disappearing again in the skies of California, carrying a dead pilot who had traced a symbol on the cockpit window as his last act. US Air Force pilot Cary 'Kit' Dekum hangs out Woo's team at a bar until Jimmy gets distracted by the arrival of Suwan (his old flame and daughter of the Yellow Claw) while the rest of Department Zero ended up with guns pointed at them. In the present, a meeting between the Atlas Foundation and HAMMER gets rough when Grizzly threatens M-11 the Human Robot, spurring Namora's protective side. Shaken, Grizzly agrees to buy their weapons. Mr Lao arranges for Temugin to meet Jimmy Woo and his team, leaving Jimmy worried that Temugin could be a genuine threat...
Agents of Atlas #3
In 1958, M-11 disintegrated the attacking Russian soldiers at the bar, leaving only small triangular dragon's scales. Later, they use these as lenses to find portals to the Dragon's Corridor - a place strewn with the long-dead bones of dragons and ancient warriors. In the present, Namora admits her grief over not getting to see her 'daughter' Namorita again (she died during CIVIL WAR). When Norman Osborn visits the Atlas Foundation weapons factory, the Uranian scans his thoughts and learns of his past as the Green Goblin and secret group, the Cabal. In New York, Jimmy, M-11 and Gorilla-Man's helicopter is knocked out of the sky by Captain America...

Agents of Atlas #4
In 1958, Department Zero travelled through the Dragon's Corridor to the Russian base, rescued Suwan and thwarted the Russians' attempt to steal the cryogenically frozen bodies of Captain America (William Burnside) and Bucky (Jack Monroe). Kit flew one of the experimental Russian jets into the Dragon's Corridor to get it back to the USAF base, only to lose his triangle and get stuck in a time loop, becoming the undead Phantom Pilot the team were originally investigating. Woo and Department Zero were then disbanded by J Edgar Hoover. In the present, the new Captain America (James Buchanan Barnes) attacks the Agents of Atlas over their connection to Norman Osborn. The team defeat him, so  he gets his New Avengers allies together to take on the Atlas Foundation in New York...

Agents of Atlas #5
Jimmy Woo doesn't want the Avengers to blow his cover, so sends the Agents of Atlas to confront them. Jimmy is about to reveal the truth to the Avengers when M-11 matches Wolverine's voice to agent Logan from the 1950s and blasts him. During the ruckus, Temugin saves Jimmy Woo from Ronin. Venus makes the Avengers euphoric so the Agents can escape via the Dragon's Corridor. Norman Osborn refuses to pay Atlas. And Jimmy Woo is disappointed he didn't learn as much about Osborn as he wanted to. All he learned was the Namor the Sub-Mariner - Namora's cousin - is a member of Osborn's Cabal...
