When Darkhawk arrives, Portal has just retrieved his armour from Crestmore Research and the Guardsmen and the Toad's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants are fighting over him. Darkhawk, who believes Portal's armour could help him learn his own origins, reveals to the Brotherhood that Portal's a mutant and doesn't use the armour to teleport.
