BLACK KNIGHT READING ORDER: Black Knight Reborn (1967-1987)

Dane Whitman inherited the Black Knight identity from his uncle, Nathan Garrett. While Garrett involved himself in criminal activity and even joined the Masters of Evil, Dane opted to act as a hero in an effort to restore the family legacy and quickly became an ally of the Avengers and Defenders. After a stint in the past, fighting in the Crusades, Dane would return to the present and officially join the Avengers, clashing with the modern version of the Masters of Evil.

So, here's every appearance of the Black Knight in order, from his first appearance to that fateful fight with the Masters of Evil. As always, the key stories are spotlighted, so just reading those will be enough to get you into the character. Or you can just read whatever you want, in any order you want!

In future entries, I'll pick up on how Dane Whitman gets involved in a love triangle with Crystal of the Inhumans and Sersi of the Eternals and ends up in the Ultraverse.
