THE APOCALYPSE SOLUTION (2010-2011)

Cyclops asked Wolverine to set up a secret black ops X-Force unit to deal with threats to the future of mutantkind in the way that the X-Men can't (during DIVIDED WE STAND). X-Force defeated Bastion’s Human High Council (during SECOND COMING) but their secret existence was exposed. Cyclops decided the need for X-Force was over, but Wolverine saw things differently and formed his own X-Force unit with Psylocke, Archangel, Fantomex and Deadpool as members. And their missions would be a whole lot bloodier…

Wolverine: Road to Hell #1[3/3]
Wolverine introduces his new black ops X-Force unit to their headquarters, Cavern-X, and introduces Fantomex to Angel and Psylocke, who are a couple again. Wolverine explains the role the team has in the world, secretly and permanently taking down nasty threats tin a way that the X-Men can't. Meanwhile, under Angel's direction, Deadpool has located base of Clan Akkaba. The agents of Apocalypse are up to no good in Egypt...

Uncanny X-Force #1
Psylocke worries about her ability to help Angel retain control over his Apocalypse-fueled Archangel persona and powers. With Wolverine and Fantomex, they board EVA (Fantomex's external sentient nervous system who acts as his transport) and head to Egypt when Angel loses contact with Deadpool. Together, they face the minotaur-like War whose attacks turn X-Force against each other. Fantomex uses his misdirection powers to convince War he loves Psylocke, literally blowing his mind. The team rescue Deadpool and Archangel announces that Apocalypse's final disciples, the Last Horsemen, have awoken. Little do they know, he's been brought back as a young boy...
Uncanny X-Force #2
Angel discovers X-Force training for a showdown with Apocalypse as the team prepare for the possibility of killing Archangel, too. They discover Apocalypse's Ship has taken him to the moon, unaware it's actually under Ozymandias' direction. As soon as EVA lands them on the moon, they're attacked by War who destroys EVA. They're soon set upon by Famine, Pestilence and Death who quickly lay X-Force low...

Uncanny X-Force #3
Psylocke's telepathy allows her to learn the origins of the Final Horsemen. Young Apocalypse doesn't want to give a kill order, so Ozymandias does it for him. X-Force are facing death until Fantomex misdirects Death so her turns his powers on Pestilence. Psylocke is taken prisoner by War who is infatuated with her, which she turns to her advantage by shutting his mind down. She then locates the child Apocalypse while Fantomex and Wolverine try to get to find her...
Uncanny X-Force #4
On the moon's surface, Deadpool tries to save Archangel from the effects of Famine's powers by cutting his own flesh off and feeding it to him. The Ship prepares to teleport, but begins falling apart. Wolverine and Fantomex kill their way through the Clan Akkaba troops while EVA teleports Death, Famine and Pestilence to an alien planet. X-Force all locate Psylocke who protects the innocent Apocalypse child from them. Archangel tries to fight his way past her to kill the child, but realises he can't do it. Fantomex takes the decision out of everyone's hands by shooting the kid in the head. X-Force leave the moon, but no one speaks...


Uncanny X-Force #7 (2011)
Fantomex creates a clone of the child Apocalypse using the technology from the World, raising the boy as his nephew, Evan Sabahnur.

Uncanny X-Force #10-18 (2011-2012)
Following the death of Apocalypse, the Death Seed activates within Archangel, transforming him into the successor to Apocalypse and taking the Final Horsemen as his heralds; Death is killed by Deathlok; with help from Evan Sabahnur (taking the name Genesis), X-Force purge the Death Seed from Archangel along with his Archangel persona, de-ageing him and removing his memories, but leaving him with metal wings.

Uncanny X-Force #19 (2012)
Evan Sabahnur and the refreshed Angel becomes students of Wolverine's new Jean Grey School for Gifted Youngsters during REGENESIS.

Uncanny X-Force #25-27 (2012)
Fantomex finally lets Psylocke into his head and sacrifices his life to save her.

Uncanny X-Force #35 (2013)
After a harrowing clash with Daken's Brotherhood of Evil Mutants, Wolverine disbands X-Force; Fantomex and Psylocke begin to get closer when he's resurrected with a new body.

Uncanny Avengers #7 (2013)
War and Famine are killed by the Apocalypse Twins during MARVEL NOW!

Uncanny X-Force #1-5 (2013)
Psylocke and Storm form their own iteration of X-Force, recruiting Puck as the first additional member in their first mission during MARVEL NOW!

Infinity: The Heist #1 (2013)
It's revealed that Death survived his confrontation with Deathlok and has founded the Pan-Asian School for the Unusually Gifted with Jimmy Woo during INFINITY

Axis #4-9 (2015)
Evan Sabahnur is briefly transformed into Apocalypse during AXIS.

Astonishing X-Men #7 (2018)
Following the resurgence of the Archangel persona, Professor X telepathically subdues the persona allowing Angel to regain control over his wings during MARVEL LEGACY.

X-Men: Black - Magneto #1 (2018)
Despite his death, Apocalypse rises again during DEGENERATION.

Apocalypse and the X-Tracts #4 (2019)
Genesis (Evan Sabahnur) is killed by Omega Red during AGE OF X-MAN.
